how to get rid of Konqueror web browser

feisty fawn is awesome! however with Firefox installed and has asked to be preferred browser
how does one get fire fox to be only choice for urls ?

did thats but i think windows xp file viewing disappeared either after i did that or when I installed feisty fawn . I can always email my self what i need
