Can't install VLC player

I went to Add/Remove programs and searched VLC player, but nothing showed up. What am I supposed to do?

Lets see...you have to add the "universe + multiverse" Repos.Now that might not be needed but thats what I did. Heck real easy when you select manage repos. So with that I fired up my terminal and typed:
sudo apt-get install vlc
enter password and your home.
