I've temporarily disabled the Blog section (as of 21 November 2016). The vBulletin software we are using was upgraded earlier this month (November). It appears that the wrong software download was used, which didn't include the software upgrade for vBulletin Blog and, as I posted in a separate thread here in Kubuntu Announcements, vBulletin CMS (which has our Front Page, RSS Feeds, and other items).
While the Blog Section 'appeared' to be running okay, it was using the previous version of vBulletin. Having different versions of vBulletin software running here isn't a good practice -- at best -- and could actually present real problems -- at worst.
The solution for this is to download the vBulletin Suite Software, Version 4.2.3 Patch Level 2, and redo the upgrade to the Forum. That will resolve the missing upgrade of vBulletin CMS and vBulletin Blog sections here, provide us once again with the Front Page section and it's links, and allow us to enable the Blog section again.
Your patience and understanding is appreciated, as even the best laid plans don't always come off as planned.
