Kubuntu - Who Makes it Tick?

To save hijacking the thread about Xubuntu project lead standing down, I thought I'd start a new one

It got me thinking how little I know about Kubuntu, even though I've been using it since Dapper!

    Who is Kubuntu's project lead?

Is there a list of contributors and what bits they look after?

How many people on this forum do "coding" for Kubuntu.

Look forward to learning who creates this thing we call Kubuntu

The Kubuntu council is the governing board of the Kubuntu community and responsible for steering the Kubuntu products. Therefore its primary responsibilities include evaluation of new Kubuntu members and evaluation of Kubuntu development blueprints (based on recommendations from the Kubuntu developers). It consists of 6 members elected by the community...

    The plan:

Refer to dependency graph, yellow cells are the base packages.

Build it locally, check for build-dependencies, new files to install, .symbol file changes etc
    Packaging in bzr
    Upload to kubuntu-ninjas with ~ppa1

Upload to Precise on release day

For a full list of those of us who have contributed over the years, look here:
          https://launchpad.net/~kubuntu-members/+members#active
"Active" may be a slight misnomer as that list covers most of those who have ever been an official "Kubuntu Member" over the years, as we can keep our status "active" easily.
