    Disable command-line access

    Hello.

I'm just wondering if there is a way to disable the command-line access in Kubuntu.

I did some research and found this:
    http://www.linuxtopia.org/online_boo...mand-line.html

It shows how to do it in gnome, but I want to know how I can do it in KDE.

    Thanks.

Haha. I guess there is no easy way of doing this in Kubuntu.

In the user's group list, remove console. This might be the answer, I'm not in front of my machine to give a definitive answer.

A quick search brought me this:
        http://applications.linux.com/articl...1618249&tid=13
Which has some tips on how to do this

This led me to an administrative tool : kiosktool
        http://packages.ubuntu.com/edgy/kde/kiosktool

it is an dapper as well, in the Universe repository and should get you to going
