Last night I noticed something I have NEVER seen before. And while it's somewhat comical, I'd like to fix it.
The time on my Chromebook has changed--to 8 hours later than my actual time. Note that its date/time settings are identical in every way to all of my other computers, all of which run [various versions of] Kubuntu. They're all set to "Set date and time automatically," they all use the same time server ("Public Time Server (pool.ntp.org)"), they're all on the same wireless network, they're all set to my time zone (Los Angeles), etc. There is *NO* difference between the CB's settings and all my other computers.
So where the hell is it getting the idea that I'm now somewhere that's 8 hours later than it really is?! Note that this started after we 'fell back' over the weekend.
(I didn't post this in 13.04 because I don't think it's version specific--I think it's CHROMEBOOK specific. Mods, of course, feel free to move if you think otherwise. )
