kubuntu website doesnt look normal

I'm at work right now but the kubuntu.com website doesn't look normal. I don't know if it's a problem on my end or what.

I've installed Kubuntu on three pcs over the weekend. I tell you I dont even want to look at a windows CD or DVD. I love the face that I can change my windows decoration, style, colors, etc. without having to buy a plus pack. I learned so much just by browsing the net. I think I learn more this way than buying a book. I used to have mac envy because of the gui but I refuse to buy a mac because of price. M$ would never give you so many screensavers.

I just now checked -- it looks fine here. I don't see any sign of the problem you reported.

Maybe it's something with the firewall at work. I'll empty my cache and see if that helps. If not, oh well. I'm on my lunch break and I like to browse linux stuff while I eat.

I emptied my cache, cookies and history. I still get the same page. Oh well, I'll wait until I get home to access it. I'm using IE. I'm tempted to try firefox but I can wait until I get home. I've attached the attachment so you can see what happens when I go to http://www.kubuntu.org/. I removed the proxy settings from my pc and that seemed to fix the problem. Crazy!

Looks like you got "redirected" by IE. That is some kind of archive -- it's not really at www.kubuntu.org. But I guess IE thinks it is!

Maybe it's something with the firewall at work.

More likely, it's the cache settings on your work's Web Server. I suffer the same problems at my job - our Web Server cache settings are set such that it isn't cleared/updated very often. :P
