    Purchasing disks

Is it at all possible to buy Kubuntu over the internet in, say, a bundle, in which it contains the installation disk for the OS, and a bunch of extra disks that comprise of packages that can be found in the repositories? (Obviously not all of them :P) Or, is it only available in single CD/DVD flavours?

I'm curious, as it would save a lot of time for me, due to using a rather dated 44Kb modem. =]

    Thanks in advance

If you have a friend (or school/work) with fast internet, you can try Apt on CD.

Yeah, I currently use Apt on CD, and it's great for when things hit the fan and require a reinstall, and I'd use it that way too, but none of my friends use Kubuntu, nor have they ever used any form of Linux distribution, ever (I tried asking a few people just then if they would do it, provided I set it up on a USB stick, and seemed to think it would ruin their computers ;/).

I'm guessing that means no, though, regarding buying parts of the repositories on disk?
