Hi! I'm going to upgrade my kubuntu 5.04 to 5.10.
My system works fine, but i'm afraid that with Breezy' release Hoary's repository won't be always updated (Ex: i can't install amarok new version for some non respected dipendences).
I've read on Ubuntu forums that the upgrade can be made by changing some voices in sources.list with new breezy repository, and then running apt-get distupgrade. They are:
deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu breezy-security main restricted
deb-src http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu breezy-security main restricted
deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu breezy-security universe
deb-src http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu breezy-security universe
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu breezy multiverse
deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu breezy multiverse
I know people who made it with Ubuntu, will it work fine with Kubuntu too?
In the same repository I've read in this forum, will i find packages for my favourite linux distro?
Thanks
rei
