When I'm fiddling with my conky, my habit is to kill conky and and relaunching it from krunner. I updated this morning (large update - been a week or so) and now I can no longer launch conky from krunner using the tilde shortcut to home.
Until this update I could enter: ~/.conky/conky_start in krunner and launch my conky script. Now this will only launch Discover to "Search for software" - totally stupid. I ended up disabling Discover in krunner because it's crap anyway. Then krunner will simply not accept the input. If I use the actual path: /home/stuart/.conky/conky_start it runs fine.
Also now, unrelated to the above I'm sure, System settings has decided to send my audio stream to HDMI/DP-4 which has nothing attached to it. It also offers HDMI/DP-5 - also not being used.
The two monitors that ARE attached - HDMI-0 and DP-3 are not available in the list. This may be a side-effect of removing KScreen because it's also total crap and won't remember my monitor config over a reboot. I execute an xrandr script at log in instead. Still looking into this one to see if there's a way to set the audio device correctly.
