    Touchpad issue

Any ideas on how to solve this touchpad issue ?
after the upgrade to 20.04, it seems that my touchpad is divided in 2.
The entire right half is now for edge scrolling while previously only a small part on the right was for edge scrolling,
and I can only use the left half of the touchpad for normal mouse pointer movements.

more info is needed - what laptop?

What specific touchpad -- the 'xinput' command will show this info.

It is the built in touchpad of my Samsung laptop. NP305E7A
As a workaround, I switched off edge scrolling, and that makes the complete area of the touchpad available for mouse pointer movements again,
but edge scrolling worked just fine until the upgrade to 20.04
