Neon does not seem to use grub

Found it. The other systems are there, but are not visible. This version of grub only displays 4 or 5 lines. To reach the others, you have to scroll down. The menu does not (quite) say that. Should be mentioned somewhere.

Glad you figured it out. I dont know if this still works, but you can add:

GRUB_ENABLE_SUBMENU=false

to /etc/default/grub and run update-grub. I think this should show a complete list of everything.
