Dapper With KDE 3.5

Im having a problem with my arts sound system, i just installed Noatun and with that it installed artsbuilder and now my arts sound system wont start

i get this error message

Sound server informational message:
Error while initializing the sound driver:
device /dev/dsp can't be opened (No such file or directory)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device.

Can anyone else confirm they have the same problem?

are you sure that your user is in audio group ? (stupid question, but ... )

The only account on the computer

Sound worked before installed noatun and artsbuilder

Which kernel are you using? I get that message with the 2.6.12 kernel, but sound works with the 2.6.15 kernel. Unfortunatly, my wireless network doesn't work with the 2.6.15 kernel so I'm forced to use 2.6.12.

Im upgrading to the 2.6.15 kernel right now, hopefully it works
