[PLASMA 5] flickers a second monitor on Kubunut KDE5

AMD FX- 8350 Processor
AMD HD 7970 Graphics Card

Tried various drivers like fglx and open source driver . the result is zero . KDE the preceding had no such effect.

I apologize that I can't help but......I gotta say that posting YOUR you tube vid as an example is.....well....a FIRST to me! very cool!

I ran across this thread.

I have this card, but on a 2560x1600 screen, so it has an impact on perf compared to the usual 1920x1080. I'd say, wait for the next generation of cards which will be compatible with the new AMD drivers (the AMDGPU thing). I'm not exactly sure about which model will be compatible with the new driver but you can find it pretty easily in this sub.

I wouldn't use the open source driver, it makes some game bug entirely. Stick to the fglrx driver, even if it's harder to install.
