I know Kubuntu 13.04 cr2 is still in beta.
Why is it every time there is a new version of Kubuntu it breaks the Video Drivers.
I had Kubuntu 12.04 installed and working with ATI 13.2 Beta driver.
Did an upgrade to Kubuntu 13.04 now the system only boots to the first logo screen and hangs.
I tried a fresh install of Kubuntu 13.04 and tried to install the ATI 13.2 Beta driver witch errored out with a kernel error.
I really like Kubuntu it is by far better then Ubuntu.
With Steam making a linux client I thought I could finally get rid of Windows.
But once again you broke a hardware venders drivers witch are still beta and where getting better.
How can we expect hardware venders to provide drivers for linux if with every upgrade it breaks there drivers.
There are only 7 to 8 Windows upgrades over the past 15-20 years so the hardware venders only had to redo there drivers 7-8 time.
Unlike Linux witch puts out a new version about every 6 months to a year.
Hardware venders will not want to redo there drivers every 6 months so please lets find a better way.
