While I was testing the Kubuntu LL alpha3, I have discovered (or maybe rediscovered?) that one of the reasons of the well known "Nepomuk not registered at d-bus" error is due to a system locale change.
On Karmic Koala, I had tried every solution mentioned on this forum and KDE userbase to get rid of the above mentioned error but unfortunately I failed. Then, last week while I was testing Lucid Lynx both on my netbook and desktop, I have discovered that, strigi and nepomuk crashes and refuses to work with certain languages (in my case, it was Turkish) if they are set as system-wide/default language. If system-wide language is set to english (both on KK and LL), nepomuk & strigi indexing and tagging starts to work again!
Did anyone else encountered such a behaviour?
