I am under kde4 and I work with both Qt application (Konqueror, Amarok ,...) that gtk (Firefox, Gimp ,...).
The application of qt fonts are smoothed and enjoyable.
As against the gtk fonts are very unpleasant to read (fonts fine without smoothing ,...). In short, they do not look at all the fonts of qt applications, despite the qt-engine parameters which are the same as qt.
If you have a solution to this problem, or if you have the same problem as me, feel free to mail. I feel less lonely and perhaps succeed in finding the solution.
