I have upgraded to KDE4.1 and really like it. However I have noticed when i need to upload files and i'm browsing /home then even the hidden files are shown. What can I do to make sure only user files are on shown.

Dolphin or Konqueror -- "View>Show Hidden Files" and un-check the box. -

The box is unchecked and ordinarily when I click on /home the hidden files are not shown, it's only when I want to upload a file or attach a file to email and you have to browse to the file location that i notice all the files (including hidden files)are shown.Comment

When you open the file dialog box from within a program, right click in the area listing the files, and an option to "Show Hidden Files" is there. Uncheck it.Comment
