    TurboPrint

I downloaded TurboPrint and got this message:
The file http://www.turboprint.info/tp2/turbo...02-2_amd64.deb is a binary, saving it will result in a corrupt file.

Did not have any trouble in Ubuntu so why does Kubuntu not like this .deb file.

Doesn't make sense to me. I have installed Turboprint drivers on Kubuntu with no problem.

I am puzzled also, of the three choices I have the only one I can successfully download and save is the rpm file. I used the .tgz file just 2 days ago in Ubuntu and it is working fine.

How did you attempt to download it? I right-clicked on your link and chose Save Link As... and pointed it to a location in my home folder and it downloaded/saved just fine.

Well you are right, I normally left click the file and it downloads to a pre-determined location.
I did as you suggested and turboprint is now installed. That was way to simple for me to figure out.
          Thanks
