Vertical tabs in Konqueror?

Dear all:

Does anyone know whether it is possible to have the tabs in Konqueror ordered vertically (preferably on the left side), rather than the classical horizontal lineup? I've found some posts online mentioning it, but nothing that explains how to go about it.

For comparison: in Firefox there are two ways to achieve this feature, one modifying the CCS, and another using specific plugins (e.g. Tree Style Tabs: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5890 -- a truly terrific addo-n!))

I'm not familiar with CSS Stylesheets, but perhaps there is a way to create one for implementing vertical tabs?

Any help?
