Please lend a hand if you can

For some reason my keyboard keys stick every time i attempt to use it to log in through my KVM switch. Also, i think my video card cannot support (but its new and unused) Kubuntu because the page scrolls very slowly. I can't get my sound to work. lastly, i tried to download firefox but i don't know how. i'm so used to using feeble microsoft i'm not that familiar anymore with linux language.

i know its a lot and i sound like a newby user but any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

On the video card side is kind of difficult to assist you if we don't know about what video card we are talking about, is it a Geforce or ATI?

I had the same problem with my usb kvm. Drove me nuts!!!! Out of sure frustration I gambled and purchased a pci usb 2.0 addon card and have been doing good ever since.
