    KDE 4 and Wireless

    Hello

I have managed to install KDE 4, but there are three problems

    a) KWifiNetwork was not installed with the core ?
(resolved by hooking laptop up to wired LAN

    b) Once KWifiNetwork is installed any WEP access point, I cannot configure as the
    configure button is disabled.

    c) Why does the Wireless networking not pick up the built in Wireless card?

    I look forward to responses

    sanj

if i have gnome installed also, can i download the wifi manager though that? its very strange that such a common feature wouldent be included in the core.

          Re: KDE 4 and Wireless

does your wireless work on KDE 3.5.x?

could you show me the output of
          Code:
          ifconfig
with your wireless internet working on KDE 3.5.x?
