A great thing about Matrix is that anyone can make a client for it and lots of people have. Unfortunately, most of them lack many features. This is new and being worked on so it counts as one of those but it's nice so far. You can't sign up a new account, do video/voice, or access encrypted chats. These things will be added apparently, which will be awesome. It is a bit buggy at the moment but still usable.
