A look at KDE Plasma 6 Dev

Here is a comparison of the mouse cursors from Plasma 4, Plasma 5 and Plasma 6 Dev :





I think it is a mistake to change the very unique outer shape of Plasma's default mouse cursor…
At least for me it had always been something I associated with KDE Plasma - much more than for example the official Plasma 4/5 Desktop logos (the "cashew" with the three "dots" and the "bracket" with the three "dots").

Today I had another look (for 5 minutes) - this time it was the "Beta 1" and in openSUSE (Tumbleweed) Krypton (https://download.opensuse.org/reposi...*Krypton.*.iso).

The Plasma Panel now has an intellihide option that is called "Dodge windows" and it works quite OK already.





"Dodge windows" in action - first picture: floating panel is shown and second picture: floating panel is hidden.
It does work with a non-floating panel too, (of course?).

I Think your right about plank. It is better suited for gnome based desktops. I've always had good luck with Latte and will continue to use it as long as it works.

I keep meaning to download Neon Unstable, but keep having memory lapses...
