    fscked !

    http://anzwix.com/a/systemd/FsckdDae...dCommunication

    My new favorite system daemon

    fsckd daemon for inter-fsckd communication

Add systemd-fsckd multiplexer which accepts multiple systemd-fsck instances to connect to it and sends progress report. systemd-fsckd then computes and writes to /dev/console the number of devices currently being checked and the minimum fsck progress. This will be used for interactive progress report and cancelling in plymouth.

systemd-fsckd stops on idle when no systemd-fsck is connected.

Does it include a .so (shared object) file called fsckd.so?
I'd rather be locked out than locked in.

      So doesfsckd-offclose down the daemon?

Since it "multiplexes" - is that a group fsckd?

      I have more....

What you don't want to get is a msg saying that one or more of your remote systems is fsckd-up.
(Was that the one you left out, Oshunluvr? Programmers are so easy!)

Of course, there is the compiler message when the daemon isn't present: Warning: get fsckd
Windows no longer obstructs my view.

                It's not a warning, it's an opportunity!
