Very good. I hope he follows up with a book on how to counter those bad arguments.

I've used those arguments all my life. They're great arguments! The author's just upset because he loses to them.

LOL. Some of those arguments I remember from when I used to be in AA. ...or maybe it was the judge.

...Or maybe my drunk uncle who was fond of me used to tell them to me... or maybe my pubmates. It's all kind of a blur; I sure wish I had finished grade school and the 3rd grade ethics and logic course they offered there. I get so confused by all the arguments in the book and I never know which ones to believe. (Maybe that's why I drink).

Icarus Kitten (with wings strapped on): "Are you sure I won't fall to the ground?"
Sealion: "Yes, little one. Trust in me... and in the book."
-- "Sealion is always right." (1:1, the Book According to Sealion)

Brilliant. Of course, it channels (or directly quotes) a lot of Alice in Wonderland and The Emperor's New Clothes.

Right now the killer is being surrounded by a web of deduction, forensic science,
and the latest in technology such as two-way radios and e-mail.
