Commercial VNC compeitor Splashtop enters Linux scene

Splashtop makes a product that allows remote connections to home PC's from smartphones. They have had Windows and Mac products for a while. They are now releasing a Linux version for Ubuntu 12.04, 32 or 64 bit. They claim that it is much faster than VNC, which is the usual way to do this in Linux

I downloaded the free package and will try it later this week.

I'm always happy to see commercial development of products for the Linux platform. Anyone else want to give it a try, and show our support?

    Frank.
