Why exactly isn't there a Linus Torvalds day?!

Seriously, the guy is responsible for this and countless other distributions, plus the Google Android creation, the guy is a modern day frickin hero, we would be left with two choices, Micropay, or Ample O$X.

If we can have an International Talk Like A Pirate Day, I don't see why we can't have a day for Linus

Mother's day. Father's day. Administrative Assistant's day. By your logic, one can celebrate these days only after Mom, Dad, and Secretary go casters up. One would hope that "early acceleration celebrations" wouldn't become a feature of our landscape

International 'Torvald Tuesday', to be observed on December 28. (Dressing up like a penguin is optional.)
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
