    British government spies on its people

    new legislation is to be created in Britain to allow the governments communications service, GCHQ, to be able to monitor web, email and telephone usage in the UK. The Government claim that it needs these powers to target criminal gangs and terrorists. Not only are we the most watched nation in the world (with the most CCTV) but now everything we do online will now be monitored.

    Sounds like the Brits have been influenced once again by the US and our rights-limiting Patriot Act.

        I suspect so also has GCHQ. This looks much like just a legitimising job.
