    Though chromium is very zippy at startups.. i don't find much a page loading time lag between chromium and FF.
    FF pros:
    1. i like plug ins and address bar of FF.
    e.g. if you write "iphone india" in FF address bar. it will redirect to iphone site india country. but in chrome/ium if you write iphone india it will search in google.
    2. Chrome/ium has problem in displaying hindi font. FF has grown till now.. and it does not have any such problem.

    Chromium pros:
    1. Fast coldstart.
    2. most visited sites page

    if {chromium sorts out its hindi font problem}
    then {chromium will be my fav browser}

    else if {FF cold starts as fast as chrome}
    then {FF will be my fav browser}

    else {i can manage with FF coz of its intelligent addressbar}

    Like your "review". Good points.

        I like. I was using IE8 on winxp before I started using Chrome. That was of course before Windows decided to lock up tighter than a drum on me. Right at the moment I'm running Ubuntu off of the live cd but I'm going to burn a copy of Kubuntu 9.10 later today. From the screenshots and all I've read so far I think I will like Kubuntu better. Without *buntu I wouldn't be typing this right now but as it is I still have a functional system. All I can say for sure is that Chrome for Windows is a lot faster than IE8. But as of right now I'm using Firefox on Ubuntu and it is faster than Chrome was on Windows. Looking forward to trying Chrome on whichever *buntu I decide to install. I figure I might as well wait another week for version 10.04 before I install anything to my hard drive. That way I'll have 6 mos to figure things out before the next release without the trouble of installing 9.10 then immediately upgrading to 10.04

          I don't use the Google version, I use chromium. It is pretty good. I miss SecureLogin & Imagazoom (FF Extensions). And now that java works in chromium, I usually prefer it to FF; I'm not sure what I''l stick with though...

            I like Chrome, Beta 5 is very fast and stable. Definitely the best Browser after Firefox, although FF's KDE integration is better (mime types and stuff).

                  I assume Chrome will import my exported Firefox bookmarks?

                    You don't need to export them, it will offer to import direct

                      Re: Google Chrome - Any one else Like?

                      I installed it -- first on my netbook and then on my desktop rig. When set up the same (6 tabs in default/start), it seems faster than Firefox, and it is definitely using less CPU resources, by about half.

                        I got the stable as well. Like a lot

                        Except it keeps offering to translate pages which is a pita and I cannot figure how to turn the d&%ç thing off.

                        Also, you have to middle click on links to open them in new tabs. Couldn't find a tab mix plus equal for chrome yet.

                        Otherwise sweet.

                          I don't understand -- I set it up to open my favorite 6 sites in tabs, for the default "home". You can do that under the "settings" wrench -- is that not what you mean?
