Successful Install!

Upgraded my laptop with a new 2 TB NVMe, so took the 1TB NVMe that was in it and did a fresh install for the desktop computer. After a few reboots everything is up and running, and all of my programs I usually use are also up and running.

Decided to stick with the default v535 Nvidia driver instead of the latest and greatest. On my desktop I'm more interesting in stability, and things "just working".

So far I'm pleased with 24.04!

get rid of Snap script (20.04 +) • reinstall Snap for release-upgrade script (20.04 +)
install traditional Firefox script (22.04 +) • install traditional Thunderbird script (24.04)
