So, I did a fresh install of Kubuntu 24.04 on an external ssd enclosure. It works great other than one thing. Every time that I first log into the desktop or after turning the monitor off because I stepped away, the background/wallpaper shrinks from being full screen to being like a little 4 inch square . My panels are still in the right position and right size. If I open any program it's still the correct size and position but if I right click anywhere outside of the wallpaper it doesn't register and bring up my context menu. I have to right click in the square box (on my background picture) to get the context menu to come up. To solve the issue, I have to go to display settings, change the resolution from 2560x1440 (16:9} to any of the other options, click apply, then just click on revert to switch it back to what I had it on originally and it's fixed again. I have an ASUS Monitor PA278QV hooked into the PC via Displayport cable. It didn't do this when I was using Kubuntu 22.04. Just an annoying problem to have. Any ideas would be much appreciated. And sorry, I wasn't sure what Prefix I should put this under. If someone thinks it should be under a category besides KDE, please let me know and I'll change it.
