[SOLVED] two kinds of update

Dear all,

Do you know why there are two kinds of update?
Or is it one regular update and a virus which dresses up like an update?
You can find enclosed the picture of the symbols.

One is for software updates, the other is for OS release upgrades. Hover over the white/orange one, or click it to see what it is.. This is the release upgrade notification, to upgrade 22.04 to 24.04. Clicking will offer you the upgrade, just like it has always done. The icon is new in recent years.
