Snap isses?

I installed Hippo/5.21.4, and Brave and Caprine stopped working -- both booted but would not accept text input. I re-installed both and they are now working. Both are installed as Snaps on my system so I was wondering if there is a problem with Snaps on Hippo/5.21.4?

I have installed 4 snaps so far and they work as expected (deadbeef, chromium, kdenlive, bpytop).

The snaps I had problems with were snaps installed in Kubuntu Focal. When I switched to Hippo the problems I mentioned occurred. When I then re-installed the apps on Hippo everything resolved itself.
