As an LTS, it probably won't make it into the Ubuntu repos, but could be placed in the PPA, assuming it does not require certain Frameworks or libraries that are newer than Plasma LTS. I don't think it does but I have been wrong.
LTS seldom get major version upgrades for software, but as this is Kubuntu's stock music player, it might make an exception. Again, assuming it doesn't need newer stuff than what's in Plasma 5.18, etc. -
