can openoffice presentation save to mac format?

Hello y'all,
My girlfriend has just started her fine art degree at university, and they have told her that every thing has to be handed in, in mac format! Does any one know if open office can save as mac format? We both run kubuntu (me) and UNR (her) I really dont want to have to buy a bloody mac just so she can save her files in mac format. If there is a work around it has to be really solid as her presentations are a large amount of her marks, so there can be no mistakes.
Does any one know or can help me?

If you are referring to the .xml format then the answer is yes. What format do you require?
