    JRE problem

    I've got a problem while trying to install Sun JRE. KPackageKit said that it had succesfully installed the jre and all dependencies. But while trying to check the jvm, i got that:
    proton@Proton:~$ java
    The program 'java' can be found in the following packages:
    * gcj-4.4-jre-headless
    * openjdk-6-jre-headless
    * cacao
    * gij-4.3
    * jamvm
    * kaffe
    What went wrong ?

    Installing the Sun Java tools requires you to accept a license agreement. Unfortunately KPackageKit does not know how to do this correctly. Try installing the JRE from the command line using
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jre
    and use the tab key to accept the license.

        As far as I am concerned, this is a great reason to not use KPackagekit. It just isn't ready for average users yet.

          Agree'd I still use Adept. It handles Java and kubuntu-restricted-extras great. Wont install using KPK at all.

          Sad, though, as KPK has come along way, but still not mature enough for most
