kmail- I cant sent email

I have this message every time i try to sent email with kmail

Sending failed:
smtp.gmail.com: SSL negotiation failed
The message will stay in the 'outbox' folder until you either fix the problem (e.g. a broken address) or remove the message from the 'outbox' folder.

i have see that the problem exist and to other distros

but i cant find a solution. I like to change thunderbird and use kmail for the kontact.
