i have not looked into this much.
so, maybe there's a way around this.
i guess it's the window manager that's to be blamed.
this thing always remembers the last size you set for an application.
you start konqueror, you size it to (x,y), you start another konqueror and it'll be size (x,y).
you resize it full size, and the next konqueror will open full size.
regardless of your having set a "remember geometry" values in the windows settings.
that's not a big deal, for most applications (at least for me).
i tend to have one instance of any applications, and keep them full screen, anyway.
but not for konsole.
for konsole i use profiles, for different purposes.
and i tend to have many open at the same time.
so, this "feature" is a bit annoying.
i guess it would be enough to have "geometry" along with a konsole's profile.
