[SOLVED] grub crashes after update KU 9.04

Hallo:

I've installed Kubunt 9.04 with Wubi. After a "apt-get dist-upgrade", I reboot system, select Kubuntu in the boot menu but it doen't starts. Instead, grub is started and I don't know how to start Kubuntu now.

How can I repair grub when using Wubit?

That's good to know "wubildr" is the culprit. It has come up a few times here. Its important enough for drs305 to place the warning on the first line.

I've never used Wubi myself and its good to know these things. Thanks to Qqmike for seeing his comment.
