    Install 9.10 from Windows 7

    Hi All,

Just bought a new pc with windows 7 on it.(64 bit)

1)I have downloaded wubi to begin the installation but it starts downloading the version i386.Hence it does not work.

2)Downloaded the image and burned it to a cd.Same result.

3)Ran the wubi with all possible compatibillity modes and admin rights.Nothing.

    Anybody has any suggestions??

    Another problem:
My new disk is unfortunately RAID0 in two and the second ARRAY is by default 63GB. Im not able to extend it with space from ARRAY0. This has two primary disks, one for windows and one for restoration and backup.

Please if you been in the same stage provide any kind of help.

Thank you very much for your time.

The 32bit version can be installed by appending the argument --32bit when starting wubi.exe.

Have you read and understood this page?:
    https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WubiGuide

You need some 5GB of disk space, a wubi install does not need partitioning.
