It's true, and I wanted to make sure there was at least one post with that title.

Today I did run the upgrade on the old E-machine that began life as a 7.04 Kubuntu system. First I had to dist-upgrade it to a current 9.04 configuration, then the Upgrade Available icon appeared, and I clicked and walked away. I came back after about an hour and it had a message that there were 137 obsolete packages to be removed, so I "OK"d that, and walked away again, and when I came back it was finished and I restarted it and ..... Kubuntu Linux 9.10 is fine, but ....
OK, where do I study up on Intel 82945GM video issues.
