Ask for experience with mp3 players

Hi all,

has anyone got any experience with the following mp3 players regarding their functionality in karmic?

Cowon iAudio 9
Samsung Yp-P3

I've found some posts in the net that they should work as generic usb storage devices. Any help is appreciated!

The Cowon should be fine, but I've seen a few threads that said the Samsung had to be flashed and turned into basically a flash drive for it to work.
