OpenSuse Build Service? Will it work for Kubuntu?

Guys,

i m trying to get netbeans 6.7 for kubuntu, tried email owners of some ppa but no luck. i would like to try on my own.

But since i have no packaging skill, i m looking for automated tools,etc. i came across this opensuse build service which can apparently build packages for non suse distros...

Any guys here with experience of this facility?
