I have a Netgear WN311T card (Marvell 88w8361 chip "TopDog") and have modprobed marvell. No messages but no response either. Synaptic indicated a libertas download might be needed--tried that to no avail. I can't do a manual install because there is no wlanconfig, which I was used to with madwifi. This system is running jaunty 64.

I found something on an LQ forum indicating that wlan-ng had workedwell with another Netgear card. I installed it thru Synaptic and it got me wlanconfig, but when I try to enter any command invilving ath0 or wifi0 I get "ioctl - no such device." I tried wlanconfig ath0 destroy and still got that message.
