I took the plunge and did the upgrade from Intrepid to Jaunty yesterday. The upgrade option was not longer available in Adept, so I used dist-upgrade. Most things seem to be in order, but I've noticed one oddity--the usplash screen during startup is still the one from Intrepid. During shutdown however, I see the Jaunty usplash screen. I tried using update-alternatives, and it only affected the shutdown screen. I also tried update-initramfs -u, but that didn't seem to do anything. Can anyone help?
- If you have copied text output that contains formatting (colors, highlighting, etc.), please do not enclose it in QUOTE or CODE tags. Just right-click your mouse and choose "Paste Without Formatting" or similar (Paste as plain text).
