Yesterday I upgraded from ubuntu 8.04 to 9.04 with the kde desktop package I receive the following message when I try to update via update manager, this just started today after downloading a morse code package. It appears I am receiving partial updates because kubuntu states that the system has been updated less than one hour ago. Below is the message I receive. I'm sorry if this question has been brought up before, I searched for it and wasn't able to find it.
W: GPG error: http://ppa.launchpad.net jaunty Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 2836CB0A8AC93F7A
This is the first issue I have had with ubuntu or kubuntu other than this, which seems to me isn't a very big issue since my system is telling it is up to date.
I running a Compaq SR5413WM with An AMD processor, 2GB of RAM dual boot with Vista Premium (Which I really don't use much any more) I will post my fulls specs soon, as the set up I have here is totally compatible with ubuntu and kubuntu with the kde desktop. I have had NO driver issues at all, printer works fine (HP 932C) Network card also worked fine. Worked like this machine was made for ubuntu It was a perfect installation!
