Nvidia Install Jaunty Solved sort of

Up graded from 8.10 kde4.2 to Jaunty. Hardware Drive won't download/install any Nvidia Drivers.
It starts by Downloading Driver then times out with nothing happening.
This is my second computer and I used the cd to upgrade.
The first computer same video driver upgraded kde4.1 over the internet with no problems

Restored 8.1 form backup and this time I did an upgrade from the Internet with no problems

Glad to hear it (eventually) worked out for you. The Kubuntu distro-upgrade process is still getting there... but look at it this way, it was a whole lot better than upgrading from Feisty to Gutsy!
