    kmail-remove emails from isp server

    Hi
I have just installed Kubuntu 9.04 desktop rc(2009-4-16)
I cannot find in "kmail settings" any button to instruct the isp to remove my emails from his server after I have downloaded them
(was using kubuntu 6.06, which had it somewhere. 6.06 now all gone!)
    Thanks

kmail -> settings -> configure kmail... -> accounts -> receiving
    select account
    then click "modify"
    it's there.

    iirc...
if you use pop3, i think you'll have to instruct it to leave the messages on the server.
pop default is to delete the message.
if you use imap4, i think you'll have to instruct it to delete the messages from the server.
imap default is to keep them there.

    cheers.

Great help jankushka! In particular, look in the Advanced Tab

thanks to both of you. I found it under "advanced". The default is not to leave it.
