Xorg, 64bit processor running a 32bit kernel, AGP, and DRM

    Hello All:

I am currently running a 32 bit kernel on an AMD 64 bit processor using Jaunty. Ever since I upgraded to Jaunty my Xorg performance has been brutal. I'm wondering if this is because of the kernel I'm using. I found on another site to check AGPGART and DRM. Here is my output:

    Code:
    thayes@aurelius:~$ dmesg | grep agp
    [ 8.566463] Linux agpgart interface v0.103
    [ 8.569192] agpgart-amd64 0000:00:00.0: AGP bridge [1106/0336]
[ 8.569223] agpgart: Aperture conflicts with PCI mapping.
    [ 8.569562] agpgart-amd64 0000:00:00.0: aperture from AGP @ d8000000 size 128 MB
    [ 8.573726] agpgart-amd64 0000:00:00.0: AGP aperture is 128M @ 0xd8000000
    thayes@aurelius:~$ dmesg | grep drm
    thayes@aurelius:~$
You'll notice that DRM returns nothing when I was to understand it should do something. Frankly I have no idea if this is something to be concerned about or what to do to resolve it. Any pointers where to look?

    Cheers,

    t.
